9 to 15th of Dancing Cloud
Though the urge to rush into the fray persisted, I made the bizarre notion to pause our chase in exchange for proper planning at the Hamlet to the border of the Malakar Dominion. Truthfully stealth would go over well, but it could only be deemed dishonorable for a person of my station to sully or cloak my Paladin full plate. Shayline proposed something easier in the form of her drudic powers divining the correct location. Used as a compass we headed off on an exhausting trek, searching for places to sleep at day and remaining alert while traveling at night. This plan bare fruit eventually as it was discover a certain warehouse was near Trinigar where the Maelstrom was located where my presence or Shayline would spell trouble.

16th of Dancing Cloud
Ironically we were faced with a problematic situation, clashing with the Accardio family whom according to the arcane investigation for the signet rings were storing them in their estate here. Her clairvoyance through the blessing of Celesia foresaw everything in the facility, including the whereabouts of the rings. None of us possessed the prowess to sneak in undetected, though playing the hiding game was getting tiresome in my opinion. Melding through the earth and slipping in, the druidness found herself in and emerged back safely with the rings.

We needed to evade the perimeter, though before mustered some insight on the crime family, learning they themselves did not kill our comrades. Lucky for them I must say as the next destination was Stahlheim. The following day agitated me and my poor purse, encountering some checkpoint with the Dominion asking for coinage for the toll. Taking one for the team we advanced without the need for combat and altogether made sure no repercussions occurred as it was imminent war could happen if we did. They were fortunate we were here and they were not in our territory.

21st of Dancing Cloud

Fatigued kick in, though we were amazed no confrontations occurred. One last toll came between us, Shayline taking the cut in funds this time around. Rushing we got back to our area, though during the next day or so we patrolled closer to the Hamlet where Rorauk bought off 50 cattle based on the seal on his ring that opted this mission.

23rd of Dancing Cloud

Within nightfall some marauders made the mistake to enter our area, Shayline demonstrating our frustations through a powerful surge of white-silver energy. It killed eight riders without harming the horses, gaining a few steeds and frightening the bastards away. All in a good night for us rangers and Rorauk better pay us back for this.

{ Recent upgrade to intelligence will from now on contribute towards actual written reports from him}

12th of Festival Moons
I survived the battle with the forces of flame, yet some of my comrades were not whole with their possessions taken from them. I soothed my rage against the Malakarians for a later time, instead happy it was the Birthday of one of my teammates; Flint Ironfinder. Grimjack did not know the concept, electing to give them the day we met him as an official day to celebrate. With that we stroll five days to Stahlheim proper to build him back up and maybe do a few errands as well. Briefly saw Rorauk and waved him farewell as we would meet him again soon. Good news the noble Fyrforg was capable of getting a nice White-silver Dwarven axe.

14th of Festival Moons
Apparently Shayline with the ancient Olaran Ekril took a trip to Malak. Though she mentioned a meeting with someone important some Duke or Princely type, she needed to get out of dodge from a heinous person eying her and scoping her out by far with a crossbow. Maybe Faelakar are very alert or just her, disappearing through the ground with the Olaran going back to Crag as she continued with her own goals. Thus far no luck in a source of who stole their equipment.

17th of Festival Moons
Transforming into a flying creature never hurt, honestly jealous a little. She spoke with some druids and those akin to myself with charm regarding animals. Maybe its my charisma or just very approachable. Nonetheless, she was able to have these people lead some wildlife from the Fae Nations to a boat at Eldara. Nothing more annoying than telling them we are moving to a new home, probably why it would take time.

19th of Festival Moon
It was sodding ridiculous how long it always take to get to this destination, longing to get in Celesia good graces to teleport from location to location. The birthday Dwarf needed legitimate weapons, hopefully something Dwarven like. Giving me what funds he received for the month, it assisted in granting him a gift in the form of a bow tied White-Silver Dwarven Axe. He was happy, but it wasn’t over yet. Our matter of business progressed onto meeting the famous weapon smith Farbere Dolzak, only one who might craft something for a big Ogre. Intriguing and no doubt seasoned in his profession, Grimjack request baffled even this Dwarf a tad bit. We needed to barter with him for usage of his white-silver for these marvelous knuckle duster in Grimjack size. Good thing we learned it would take a day or two.

Stopping to see the General, I gave the exact report to Bargin on any ongoing threats and those we killed within the territory itself. Rorauk’s signet ring being stolen brought great concern where it was a priority for Stahlheim and the Rangers. Though despite that looming threat, we took time to discuss border patrol increasing where I learned of the scary siege weapons at the river. They really were having issues with the Fae and I pity the one crossing to their area.

Lastly we made to the neighboring shops of the Highwalls and Braunbolts. Logic told me his belated birthday was not done until he got a Dwarven Crossbow. Kirth Highwall was low in spirit, already grieving over his daughter leaving the area. Though sweet talking him was getting somewhere, my blunder in mentioning Rorauk losing his wedding gift infuriated him and by association were asked to leave. I apologize and left with them, going next door to speak to Bicks Braunbolt on Geppert’s request. Demonstrating the efficiency of the linebolt design for this forearmed equipped knifelauncher and by extension Grimjack chained chakram. Granting him a few days to gauge the craftsmanship and function, I ponder how the young wright would feel on the matter.

21st of Festival Moons
Rorauk’s travels led the Fyrforg to Stone on investigating on the matter, hearing from a source he was needed. Unfortunately by his accounts it was someone in Malakar Dominion utilizing his signet ring to acquire purchase of 50 cattle. Being the giving person he was payed him in full, but was not happy to know someone happened to manipulate him and if worsen his nation depending on other actions.

Shayline got her herd of creatures to travel on a boat. It was comical if not for almost killing my friend, Dwarven Ballistas heeding her with a warning shot. She shapechanged and solved the problem, yet from it now acquired her own heraldry. She seems blessed though it could spell trouble perhaps later down the road, but at least any boat baring it was safe.

26nd of Festival Moons
Braunbolt enjoyed the contraction immensely, hoping he could convince him to work alongside him in the future. I would give the wright the great news, but with his oath and everything it might disappoint him. Nothing is ever predicted, so my assumption might be false. After all an Eldakar had sex with a Necromancer so anything was possible. Grimjack received his item and we headed off.

33rd of Festival Moons
Timing could not get better for us, everyone regrouping in some form minus our mighty leader and our patron of Celesia; Shayline. We received word Rorauk was in stone so from there we traveled with Ekril, Shayline finishing her business to do the same.

6th of Dancing Clouds
We make it to Stone as requested by Rorauk based on the message left with news on the events transpiring. I relish the opportunity to get back at the fiends. Now as we headed potentially to the border with Shayline manifesting her druidic powers on a direction, our battle might occur in Trinigar. Just the place where all trouble can occur. No matter it was a case of urgency and if lucky dish out pain to more evil doers .

Morning of the 4th Festival Moons
Ranger First Class Grimjack with Ranger Mozog arrived late to Stone, hearing their band of rangers left in pursuit towards Malakarian marauders approximately over a week ago with no answer. Information was provided on where the struggle occurred, tracking down the meager blood trail to a possible source. Meanwhile, the rangers were decimated by a separate group of raiders as they slowly gained consciousness, lacking equipment with clothing still wore in a farmer’s field between the hamlets. Mustering up the strength to battle the writhing pain, miraculously some of their wounds healed from tending to each other in this worsened state. Stumbling to a farm house in the horizon, they were met with warm receptions, excluding Jav-rasn whom got dirty looks from the recent rumors spreading about the Fae. Through genuine words and on good faith, Geppert persuaded them to allow the Aevakar to bunk in the stables while they stayed the day. Grimjack and Mozog found out rangers were in the facility during a visit to one of the hamlets , yet did not know there whereabouts. The Ogre prayed to the silver unicorn for guidance, getting a nudge in the right direction to check in the morning.

5th of Festival Moons

Further chores were done in the farmland, rationalizing they needed some weaponry before they dared venture outside this house. Jav-rasn committed to healing the sick animals and blessing them, Geppert building some rudimentary clubs with Rorauk feeding animals and Flint repairing any damage bestowed by the storm. In the afternoons a looming shadow appeared in the distance, relieved it was the mountainous Ogre with Mozog accompanying him. Reunited, a plan was established to get to Stone by camping out to an abandoned farmhouse.

6th of Festival Moon

Staying vigilant in the morning, they made it to the next hamlet without further exposure to other horrors. Others felt meager with sub par equipment thanks to the onslaught they suffered through. They spent the day doing various activities in the hamlet , finding that traversing at night may not be the wisest move in their current predicament.

Evening of the 7th of Festival Moons
It was burdensome for them to stale, yet they finally arrived to Stone safely. Grimjack and Mozog were given news of the deceased rangers who fought off the rangers. Rorauk spoke with the mayor of Stone, displaying grief over the lost gear that may play significant role towards discord in the future. Time was allotted dealing with preparations and the meeting, realizing all paths pointed to Crag.

11th of Festival Moon
Glancing at the familiarity of the gates they began to close in. Murvoth did not stray too far along, trekking through the lands of the Kal-A-Nar Empire and beyond after his succession mission with the Unchained. Accompanied with his two carnal companions Kujo and Cheu made things fascinating, but Shayline whom traveled ahead left the Orc pondering on her detour. Sensing something flame-touched without the beastial duo catching it immediately witnessed two Acolytes riding some gigantic gargoyles. One fancied a scar, an indication of the knife launcher hitting true meaning it was time for round two. A radial stream of flames came spewing out of its mouth to encircle them three, all evading in a timely manner. Unfortunately avoiding that ominous torridity gripping his organs was harder to dodge, but for the time he mustered through without any lasting damage inflicted. The other rider assisted in shielding themselves in flames akin to a shield. The others became observant of the battle raging on with them surrounded and maybe outmatched. Clinging to the compact leg of Grimjack, Mozog followed his lead forward to help his Goblinesh comrade. Jav-rasn distance himself, inadequate protection and recent trauma convincing him to suppress his heroism in exchange for a big shield. Rorauk lead with commands to influence Murvoth’s performance, feeling hindered without his marvelous wedding gift and armor. Lastly Geppert ran for the gate to call for some reinforcements and Flint assured without fear dashed forward.

Sundering his insides by abyssal flames and Gargoyle heaving breath, it was a struggle while safeguarding those near him. Geppert’s knifelauncher provided him a small opportunity, demonstrating the full lethality of the weapon as it punctured passed the nose and travel upward towards its Childer brain with maximum carnage. Bypassing its stoney hide despite inexperience with shooting, he forced the dreaded agent of Ceynara to fall twenty feet, positioned prone with the carcass of his kill. Conjuring up energy the other acolyte summoned another enormous gargoyle, though this one was on the ground. Surrounding this fallen scoundrel, Murvoth initiated a tremendous combination of armored strikes, though Flint Ironfinder triggered it by an intellectual display of trickery by feinting the hint of reinforcements charging in with a convincing speech and reaction even at his distance. Bewildering him at a time of distraught, the first punch collided to the temple to disorient, the secondary one hit with ferocity in the form of a savage left hook to the liver with the third becoming a downward hammershot to the spine. Kujo’s attack ended prematurely by mimicking his master, falling flat on his butt. Cheu’s stinger pierced but he resisted the poison and mustered through the pain.

Geppert cry for help manifested through a bright white-silver light, Shayline Eridor appearing before them in their dire time of need in assisting the boisterous corporal. Blood spewed out his mouth from further internal distress. This hampered him enough to get the advantage to teleport in a zip of flames where he now commanded the air. Going for a second shot, the trigger proved too slow before enough strain forced him to collapse soon after when the Faelakar propelled herself at great speeds in her falcon form to his destination. Her arrival with the other prompted them to retreat, the wounded acolyte yearning to finish off the Paladin this time. Motivated to not grant them a proper exit, Shayline surged with Celesia’s mystical essence concentrated through her.

adrenalinesurge.jpg

Pulsed out was a massive wave of raw force describable as the fury of a storm, radiating in it towards the escaping enemies as a piercing white-silver light of the Silver Unicorn. Afterward her swift attack killed the Gargoyle immediately with its rider freefalling to his death onto the merciless rocks of the Stoneheart Mountains. She unleashed another without a hint of hesitation to demolish the other agent of Ceynara with his minion.

She checked on his status with his allies dragging him to safety. Healing him of his wounds, they conversed as the others met up. It was quite the reunion with everything they learned, especially the death of rangers whom Murvoth last recall drinking with at Stahlheim. This moral victory became sour as they enter Crag to report to the exhausted Captain Fyrforg. Everyone gave their statuses with immediate worry of the items taken from Rorauk. Requipped, all of them tended to their own duties for the night. Things were going to get even more complicated now.

1st Festival Moons Just before midnight a group of riders is noticed to the north, but they also spot the ranger patrol and head back north before being engaged.

3rd Festival moons Early in the patrol a group of 13 riders is spotted and Jav-rasn insists that an ambush be set. Jav-rasn starts the ambush flying up close and unleashing a jet which drops six horses and five of the riders. Caravan appears that seems to be going up to the area of Jasara, supplies being carried with a trade between them. Gathering up their forces and enveloping the caravan by different angles, the group was ready to advance where their first destination. Along the way Shayline moved ahead in her shape changed form, checking on neighboring farms.

6th to the 12th of Thunderhawk

Heading into Stone it was obvious this Tempest stirred some calamity, fairing worse than even Crag. No walls were built and repairs were underway. Damages denied them the opportunity to sleep in the bed and rather peculiar was Shayline leaving while in the vicinity of Stone. Leaving the area they continued their journey. The watch for Shayline and her new animal companion, imminent danger awaited them. A mixture of humans, alakar, and goblinesh. Briefly greeting them with a warning which doubled for alerting those in the area. A large volley of arrows pierced into Shayline, dropping her unconscious with arrows embedded into her with Grimjack rushing to her aid. A battle ensued , each getting in their attacks but with seemingly less opportunity as they defeated their melee capable comrades one by one. Soon they retreated, but not without a stampede wrecking the carts and a few slightly wounded. Rorauk and the soon conscious Shayline prayed to Celesia, mending the damages of the cart to proceed before a second attack was planned in the midst of night, utilizing farsight for the humans which explained their advantageous position.

15th of Thunderhawk
Reaching Rhion rarely took much time, yet getting there rumors started to spread further considering the role the Fae nation played for the Tempest, visibly angered as in defiance expressed her feeling for her selfless acts during this supernatural calamity to the lands.

16th to 23 rd of Thunderhawk
Reaching the destination during that arduous trip right, pushing forward with what they carried during the next couple days. Even in these foreign lands they had to remain vigilant, especially with the Prelacy on the loose in their Crusade. Reaching Jasara some business was to be had, both Murvoth and Shayline receiving orders to go up to Kalinesh territory for a mission involving the Unchained. Figuring there was a slight chance of an impending death, the hefty brawler drank with comrades the night before leaving. Others patrolled the area and were off to other tasks.

25 to 26th
Time was taken as they left to Jasara without a few of their fellow teammates, moving faster without the luggage as they headed back to Stahlheim.

End of the 28th
Rushing to Stone Jav-rasn received some dirty looks, tensions were rising with new rumors of the Fae attempting to assassinate their Clanchief. Certainly more trouble was brewing in the horizon, however in which form it took remained to be seen.

Eternal Sun 19 to 20

Time was taken, adapting the node itself towards life via sanctify and gathering up the bodies to incinerate the corpses. From there they made a camp within the perimeter, feeling obliged to stay until the morning. During the middle of the night wolves descended upon them, encircling the rangers and their companions. The dead of night and sleeping did them no favors, nearly dragging away Mozog, Geppert mangled into unconsciousness, and three wolves vice-gripped onto Rorauk’s horse . Amidst all the chaos some ingenuity came from Shayline, transforming into a great wolf herself and communicating to its Alphas with promise of more food. Going off , the rest stayed in the facility to tend to wounds before continuing their patrol. Rorauk’s horse was officially deceased, yet some miracles arrived in time in recuperating the stead.

21 Eternal Sun
Reaching the third hamlet both Murvoth and Flint needed some rest, having Rorauk take Jav-rasn, Geppert, Mozog, and Ekril towards the catacombs. It was disturbed and once the others joined confirmed inside as it was empty. Murvoth decided to safeguard the place personally as in the fourth shift he station himself to the epicenter of the area to sanctify. Confidentially, during that time Johanna Beck appeared requesting aid from the rangers to assist in a personal manner reminiscent of the past. His entire herd of cattle disappeared in the night, needing them to go check it out. With Murvoth left behind with his companions, an old enemy resurfaced. A Kal warlord with a Gargoyle[Enemy Card] , stronger than before but so was the orc. Both entered a skirmish with each side looking neck to neck whether it was breathing flames or a well placed launched knife into its body; neither letting up despite the aerial advantage it posed. His prayer for flight betrayed him after a failed assault, crashing to the ground and thrashed with a good slash into his chest.

Bringing the brawler to the brisk of death after crashing him into a building via the embedded projectile from before, farmers came to his aid after Cheu and Kujo started to carry him indoors. In the meanwhile Rorauk and the rest chased after those responsible for kidnapping the herd, momentum was on their side until fatigue began to conquer. Camping for the night, a few stood awake only just going through that hardship from those wolves the night before. No one could blame Mozog and Geppert with those reservations, staying vigilant.

22 nd to 26 of Eternal Sun

Moving with haste in the morning, rushing towards the destination which was near the river with markings signaling travel passed the treacherous waters into Malakar Dominion territory; specifically the city of Urd. A controversial conversation commenced, some seeming merit to rush there incognito without their uniforms with the young Fyrforg feeling it would incite war even in the events of hiding their true form. Leaving to the hamlet to check on their Corporal. To their horror the are was damaged and Murvoth was grievously injured, fortunately their arrival meant they could tend to his wound and of course a greater healing potion did some wonders. Then embarked during this time back to Crag the next few days, Shayline own travels involved literally teaching canine’s a new trick by fishing in the mountain range. Arduous and no doubt peculiar, it was a temporary means for survival for what seem like an animal sanctuary developing in the third temple to Celesia.

The bearer of bad news was delivered to Johanna Beck, Rorauk showing his charitable demeanor by handing over some of his salary in hopes it’ll do for his family’s survival in the winter, Flint Ironfinder following suit with some coin himself. They pressed on, determined to fix this injustice that has afflicted this farmer who has dealt with wolves, possible sacrifice by the Kal, now this. Shayline by this point arrived to her destination with some strife, Great Wolves versus the Mountain Lions. A literal case of cats and dogs, utilizing some persuasion to have them cooperate. Other food was definitely needed it appeared.

27 to 28 Eternal Sun
Arriving to Crag a few matter of business had to be settled, Rorauk giving his report with a few remarks presuming Murvoth’s predicament with the Gargoyle and Kal priest was a lie in assuming their forces are back in the area. Otherwise Granyt’s orders was going back to patrol with watchful eyes of the assailant that injured the orc. Afterward Murvoth mentioned leaving for a day to the Gerrov Gathers, where as others took to their own business. Shayline checked up on Rockridge and Slatespirit within that time frame. Mozog searched for new armor, his leathers torn in his defense against the Great Wolves. Full studded leathers were found, yet the enthusiastic Wright prompted the Goblin in improving it with horrifying results that destroyed it but with luck another pair was found with his size. This had Geppert went to prepping the Knife Launcher of Murvoth’s during the rest of his time in Crag. Flint and Rorauk both went shopping with mixed success. Surprisingly, Mozog received word from the Lore Wardens, requesting a letter to apologize as duty bound him to leave before enough time was warranted. Perhaps this day or two of rest could reinvigorate themselves to the formidable paths before them.

29 Eternal Sun
Shayline divinated the location of her fellow rangers, receiving word they were within Crag. With this she headed to Crag to reunite with the others. Now the question was where to go from here.

Late Day Eternal Sun 14

Clearing his name thanks to his comrades, the hunt for the necromancer commenced during the night via Murvoth with his companions and Shayline with the guards. Nothing memorable registered for the two dedicated towards eliminating this blight from Stahlheim.

Eternal Sun 15

Suspecting the necromancer was no longer in town based on lack of corpses, an observation made by Mozog addressed by the notion of needing ample amount of undead to truly thrive and have an advantageous position in foreign territory. Their next destination would be the graveyard, though first others had other things to do while the Orc Paladin and Eldakar Druidness slept. Rorauk greeted a blacksmith, persuading the fellow kinsman to make some weapons appropriate to eliminate some of the undead lacking flesh from past encounters, accomplishing something by having a white-silver hammer forged for him. Flint bartering via trading his throwing axes for a warhammer also found a little triumph that day. Mozog focused on his alchemical work, Grimjack assisted with some diligent manor labor in the warehouse district with Geppert furthering his work on the Wright’s Hook for projectile based combat. Murvoth and Shayline headed to centenary, no node was sense meaning he wouldn’t be able to rise an army, and no disturbances sensed even after establishing rank and titles to gain access. After fetching fish for days that unfortunately rose in value from the Tempest separated him from some coinage, yet supply everyone with a hearty meal with a new objective in mind now to search elsewhere.
Eternal Sun 16 to 18th
A arduous patrol heading to where the storm was centered, the group took time to check on the farmlands . Repairs were underway for these communities on the way to the first hamlet. The crypt here was unguarded and not stagnant either. It appeared to Shayline after gaining insight through divination that the corpses were taken within the last six days. Before heading out the next night Shayline safeguarded the perimeter through sanctifying this building that was built for multiple businesses. This would bulwark its denizens with their absence when they left.

Eternal Sun 19th

Leaving early in the morning they began their trek towards the mountain for the next hamlet in the area. Immediately they ran into the necromancer in the mid afternoon, encompassed with some hired mercenaries, zombies, and a few of those gigantic bone creatures from the prior battle. They stood by their grounds where close numbers mattered little for the bone giants, one mustering the strength and its outrageous reach to caused a monstrous sweep that hindered the advance of the rangers. Even that misfortune could pause the fury of Murvoth, pummeling through one of the them in a flurry of blows. It didn’t take long until the brutish Grimjack collided with one, larioting one into oblivion[deadly blow card rolled] as shots were fired and everyone made the endeavor to close the distance. The Druidness cloaked some of the rangers, including Jav-rasn who midflight unseen rained down a mighty blast to destroy two of the necromancers he earlier summoned forth as mirrored images. They were taking some thrashing, especially the Aevakar once discovered as necromantic energies surged through his body. The diminutive alchemist was hard to detect, distracting one of the bone abominations with a placed rock or two before Flint and Rorauk tag-teamed on the giant servant of darkness. Geppert bull eyes a crossbolt through the necromancer, stumbling and beginning to flee before the young Fyrforg finished the deed with Shayline eradicating most of the other enemies. Jav-rasn cared not for this enemy, dissolving the body in a jet. The Faelakar witnessed it wearing nightchain, hinting at something else in works and a new enemy in the horizon to add.

Eternal Sun 12

Striving to keep Crag under siege was successful, but the matter of Rorauk’s speculated crime had tensions flaring as we passed through the battered gate. Increase patrol on the wall and levy’s being pulled from the walls during the Tempest. There Rorauk was directed straight to the inner keep, sent into jail until the trial. Granyt still hanger as the rest of the ranger reported in. What was known the Necromancer disappeared as well as the Wraith responsible for causing the Aevakar’s heart attack, assumed both are in town. Now a hunt for the Necromancer commenced in the night, Shayline going off in patrol with some guards in the Market Square/Warehouse district, noticing some figures in the dark. Identified as Malakarian by the tall, dark hair and olive complexion her fae ears overheard them celebrating over the young Fyrforg’s capture and the getting all the evidence. Shapechanging into a cat to pursue them, she lose their trail and began a search pattern. Murvoth went to the Merchant district itself, hearing rumors the Fae nation were safe during the storm, causing the calamity for their own agenda. Mozog surveying the area to learn more of Crag within the Merchant district, the small goblin hearing about the same about the Fae, including Rorauk’s relations with Eldakar in the past and potentially the future. Grimjack took some needed rest and Geppert went into his quarters, designing the Knife launcher.

Eternal Sun 13
Geppert searching for proper materials, found one of his old contacts dealing with the steel supply. Through negotiations and persuasion he acquired the needed stuff, which eventually allowed him to build this spectacular device. Grimjack rested to recover from his punctured lung. Mozog wishing to further his research went to the inner keep to have a meeting with the Lore Wardens, they stated it would contact him back at base and in the meanwhile focused. Fey were not showing up since the rumors spread. During dinner all information was laid out concerning this issue, Shayline immediately going back to her patrol to find this person. A small skirmish occurred between the two with the Eldakar with the upper hand. He failed to trick her, taking a few shots before fleeing with her behind him. Unfortunately things went south as he slipped away, though she now knows some of his associations with the man in charge named Luuigi. Murvoth strayed from the normal path, going to the red light district. Encountering a dirty bartender, he bribed his way towards some information. There he found out this Luuigi was a newcomer in the streets with his second in command in Mário. Aligning with other merchants with actual base of his own, it seem he served as some enforcer around these parts. Lastly Geppert spent time designing new equipment for the Ogre this time.

Eternal Sun 14

Morning came with Grimjack healed from the gruesome internal injury, finding an alchemy in the process. The Wright began discussing another marvelous device for the behemoth while both devote followers of Celesia sleeping. Unable to convince his his contact this time around, Geppert went ahead to get materials successfully and build this new monstrous device on a chain. Soon horns were blaring signaling the Clan Chief was in town and the trial would be happening soon. The Rangers arrived at the inner gate, surrendering their weapons before heading inside what looks like an amphitheater. The Clan Chief read off the crimes, Rorauk pleading not guilty. Immediately a dwarf in the prostration desk asking him of his romantic endeavors with fey and traveling with one. More accusations were made with his league with the necromancers. Shayline made a compelling case in his defense, mentioning blame on this Malakrian by the name of Luuigi Accardio . The Clan chief allowed them two days to capture this man, with that they left to where they presumed to be hiding comfortably. Scoping out the city they were easy to spot, refusing to comply and started a fight. Grimjack went forward, grappling Luuigi in the attempt to subdue him without bloodshed being nessecary. Needless to say the Malkarian did not agree as he stabbed the brute, Shayline praying to Celesia to put half of them asleep while the other half suffered Grimjack wrath as bruises and broken bones awaited them, alive but complete anguish. In a lucky strike he dropped the Druidness, seemingly dead from the precision slash as he ran. It slowed him down as Murvoth with his animal companions moved ahead, Murvoth brutalizing him, the bear pouncing upon him, and then getting knocked out by the orc. The second in command almost fled, until Geppert fatally wounded him with a crossbolt to the leg, hitting an artery and bled out before healing was an option. Returning Luuigi and most of his men to the inner keep, he stood trial as the head of security mind read him, learning the truth from his beaten body and Rorauk set free. One threat was neutralized for now, the necromancer now the primary concern.

Surviving the mysterious horde of zombies, the aftermath had the Dwarven reinforcements appear. Orders were given by the Mayor of Crag to arrest the young Fyrforg on Treason. Asking for the paper with set orders, apparently based on what Sergeant Eridor read the basis of the arrest consorting with the Fae and causing the horde of undead. Murvoth, his animal duo, and the mighty Grimjack were not too behind as they overheard the commotion and their leader’s arrest. Before leaving a massive bonfire was made to cremate the zombie carcasses so rising again wasn’t an option.

Half a day later they arrive near Crag with a legion of Undead encompassed near the area. Rorauk wished to help in the battle, yet the Stahlheim soldiers would not permit him as they perceive him as their ally. Spurred on and motivated to reach the enemy forces, Murvoth rushed forward immensely. The Stahlheim military barrage of bolts did not phase the ethereal like necromactic commander with black iron armor. In the meanwhile the undead slowly tear away at the wall and at times a few Dwarves on the walls falling. Through the new power bestowed as a priestess to Celesia, Shayline blessed the dwarven troops and a few of her companions. Mozog attempt to stealth failed miserably, revealing himself as a small bomb went off. The druidness transforms into a hawk to accelerate, reaching the enemy faster. Entering a collision with the forces of darkness, Murvoth charged straight for one of the robed humans, puncturing organs from severe internal damage.

Instantaneously practically one third of the group disappearing from sight. Close to this boney benemoth made even the mighty orc wary of it with both Grimjack and Jav-rasn also quite afflicted. The Aevakar was stricken in enough fear to be plagued with a heart attack mid battle and fall to the ground. Flailing its tentacle of bones each struck but it wasn’t enough to phase him. Slowly getting overwhelmed by the horde Murvoth , Grimjack rushing to Jav-rasn aid from his heart attack by pounding fist to recuperate his ally. One of these giant skeleton abomination slapped itself trying to hurt the Ogre, stunning it and crumbling one of its tentacles, though he felt a slight icy cold feeling from a ethereal creature of darkness he passed on by nonchalantly. Murvoth started to gain a small advantage, taking out one of the giants and his animal companions coming to help. Out of no where Geppert with tactical insight from Rorauk killed the figure in black iron, yet the undead still stood hinting it was his mirror image instead. Shayline hovered by above, radiating with her life energies to neutralize or pause the advancement of the horde. Numbers started to decrease with the one who manifested this group no where to be found. Mozog with his frame dragged the aevakar back to the wagon, Grimjack on the offensive with clubbing one of the Bone like behemoths with his white-silver bracers rather mercilessly. Shayline herself unleashed her power, crumbling an ample amount of the zombies, even wounding one of their giant skeletons. Soon it was done , but trail awaited Rorauk with the good deeds committed by his squad. Who would even think Rorauk Fyrforg a traitor was a question looming through the ranger’s heads.

Eternal Sun 1
Having just dispatched of a Storm mage riding a large Gargoyle I proceeded to dispel the Despoil the Storm mage had cast on the area of several previous battles. Realizing the power that would be needed I called upon my fellow rangers to aid me in this task. Murvoth and Rorauk tapped into their connection to the Silver Unicorn and Jav-rasn, who along with Mozog had shown up after the battle, aided with his connection with life to aid me in Dispelling the unnatural power placed there. Having exhausted ourselves from the fight and the spell we settled down for a long rest to recover. As I walked into the cave and entered the consecrated ground I found myself in possession of the equipment I had lost when I was kidnapped by the Tempest. Murvoth plate became white silver and a symbol of a rearing unicorn was on the breastplate revealing him to be a paladin of Celesia. Grimjack had passed out on the rock wall of the fortification and none of us had to strength to move him so we used the pavillion canvass as a blanket for him.
Eternal Sun 2
I rested for the night and got an early start the next morning to prepare the outer area to be dedicated to Celesia. As Jav and I prepared the area Flint and Geppart made plans to collapse the side tunnel with the liberal use of Mozag’s alchemical products.
Eternal Sun 3-6
We successfully cast a more powerful Sanctify than I had attempted before as I tapped into the Locus’s power. Again tired I rested as the others made preparations to collapse the tunnel. They realized it would take 3 days to safely collapse the tunnel. Near evening a male mountain lion wandered near the fortification. Clearly starving I convince the party to throw some dried meat rations to the animal as I shifted into the form of a mountain lion and led it to a nearby stream to catch fish to eat. I realized its mate must be hungry I tracked it back to its lair carrying a fish and found a mother and cub both of whom were starving. The cub was actually sick and after healing it fed both the mother and cub. I led them back to the cave behind the fortification so they would be closer to the stream where they could get fish. The others had successfully collapsed the tunnel and we headed off to the Rockridge temple.
Eternal Sun 7-8
Travel to and arrive at the Rockridge temple. While there we decide to take a wagon and a team of horses to Slatespirit to use to transport goods to and from Crag.
Eternal Sun 9-11
Travel to Slatespirit. The Dwarves finished a waystation at the halfway point of the trip and had blazed a trail but the way was still difficult for the wagon. The dwarves believed it would take a little more time to make the trail easier for wagon travel. We arrive at Slatespirit. We rested for the night and left Grimjack and Murvoth to help the Goblinesh settle in. Murvoth was greeted rather enthusiastically by a female goblin. Perhaps Rorauk should think of moving his wife to Slatespirit.
Eternal Sun 12
We headed of to Crag early the next morning. Not long after leaving we ran into a large number of zombies. Jav attacked from the air and I shifted into the form of a falcon and calling upon Landra and the Silver unicorn began to fight off the hoard. Rorauk and Geppert used dwarven crossbows to devastating effect as Flint moved forward to throw his axes and wade into melee. I lost track of Mozog during the fight. The number of zombies was nearly enough to overwhelm us and might have if a patrol of dwarven warriors hadn’t arrived. As it was Jav and Geppert were unconscious. I flew off after the wagon after healing Jav and Geppert. When I returned I found out that Mozog had been pinned under a tree. Fortunately he was successfully extracted and healed.

Questions linger. The predators in the area are going to be aggressive until nature recovers from the storm. We must keep an eye on those farmers that have returned to their homes outside Crag and Slatespirit.
Where can I recruit druids to man the new Temple of the Silver Unicorn? Fae? Dwarven druids? So they don’t displace the mountain lions.
How many more Storm mages are still running around?
What power raised all these zombies?
The number of dead from the storm provides Necromancers with large supply to raise an army.
