Aiden was born in Lanthor, the son of a blacksmith. Even as a child, Aiden had a gift for fighting. As he grew older, he found he had a greater talent and passion for rending the armor of others, rather than fashioning it. He also developed a near insatiable wanderlust. Knowing that the life of a blacksmith could never provide him the excitement he sought, he soon joined up with one of the many mercenary companys based in the Freelands. The life of a mercenary suited him well, but it was only with the coming of the War of the Flame, that he found his true purpose, the protection of the Southern Kingdoms from the dark forces that threatened it.
Aiden is still a young man, barely older than 20, but he has the bearing of someone older due to his experience. His frame is lean and compact despite his strength. He generally keeps his black hair cut short, both for ease of care and to deny the enemy something to grab in combat. He is typically dressed in chain and has a preference for the longsword, though he is proficient with many weapons. He rarely wears a helm unless expecting a pitched battle.
